We took it on our first family camping trip and it was a lifesaver. We used it for our campfire as there was a fire ban. We cooked some kabobs on the stand/grill thingy. Then we had some rough weather move in and it was great that we could take it under our canopy and still have a fire to sit around, where a normal fire would have been out with the rain. I don't see a reason to ever have to build a campfire again! And this thing can absolutely crank!
The lavabox is the way to go for all your outdoor adventures. With more and more limitations on wood fires, this is the perfect solution. Big heat in a little box.
Used my new LavaBox for the first time over the weekend while camping and it is amazing! Super easy to use, love how adjustable the dial is, and it gets SO hot. Highly recommend and make sure to get the bag!
This performs really well. It is very easy to set up, comes with everything you need, and has a very high flame if you want it. I love being able to have a fire for a short period of time. I made a mistake when ordering and got the Naked version, not realizing that it will rust. It started already. I would recommend getting the stainless or painted.
