*Your Naked Tabletop Vol-CAN-no is beautiful cold-rolled steel with no coating to protect it from the elements. It will patina and rust over time and it will be a spectacular marvel of chemistry!

*Please allow 5-7 Business Days for our “team” (Rumpelstiltskin's entire extended family) to build your box and get it out the door. They are not as fast on LavaBoxes as they are on the spinning wheel.

I was excited

Nice fire box 4 stars, would be 5 if it had a quick coupler.
Missing the lighter, no biggie but was part of the purchase.
The bag is okay.
What disappointed me was the "over under grill thingy": Absolutely knife edge sharp edges on everything, not cool invest in a deburring wheel or at least a tumbler to break those when the parts are not all riveted together. I spent two hours with my dremel. Then even more disappointing is the box just sits on it, no side members to straddle the can at all, so one bump of the hose and on the ground it goes. If ignik had an enclosed can I would have gotten theirs instead.
Please step up your game so I can feel good about supporting a CO company.

This thing sizzles! Couldn't be happier with this little hot mamma! Nothing like having a fire without any of the hassle. Literally, plug and play! It's as if the ease of the digital world collided with the rugged manliness of an analog fire. Imagine a neanderthal using a smart phone. Yep, that's what it's like having a lava box in your quiver. If Darwin was still alive he would have a lava box and that's not speculation, it's just SCIENCE!

You guys ever made your wife so mad by telling her that youre traveling for work but really out on a solo camping trip while missing her families thanksgiving? Thats the kinda heat this thing throws. Along with being small and light, you can take this thing anywhere. 10/10 would buy again. Keeps you warm on lonely nights and fed when the stove goes out. You cant beat it, buy this thing!

Thanks Travis for your possibly too honest review. That is definitely on par with the 280,000 btu's coming out of the LavaBox.

I have only try once, but I already love it. It is so portable with a 5 pounds propane bottle. The over and under grill is so praticle for cooking.
