I LOVE the Trident LavaBox!
Quick story: I went to REI and purchased a ammo can style fire pit (I won’t drop any names, haha) for a week long trip through Utah. I used it one night and packed it away real fast and broke out a Buddy Heater because the one from REI did little to nothing to keep us warm. The flames were so low! My 2 year old literally said she wanted to blow out the candles and sang Happy Birthday because the flames were so small, haha! Needless to say I returned it the night we got back. That’s when I figured it was time to splurge for a LavaBox and it does not dissapoint!
The flame output on this thing is crazy! I can’t wait to break it out next camp trip. So far I’ve only used it pool side on a chilly night and it was amazing!

Beautiful work in this design. Very well made and thought up...... If you want this perfect burner be sure to get the 'Bug Out Bag' with it, also very impressive! Awesome!!!!
We were invited to my buddy’s new outdoor patio/grill opening. My buddy lives up on hill and it was forecasted to be windy and cold, so I decided take my Lava Box … just in case. When I got there they had a Pyramid Patio Propane Heater and two Infrared Outdoor Heaters by the grilling station. next to it they had an empty fire pit with chairs. I decided to put my Lava Box in the pit and I sparked it up. My buddy thought I was wasting my time because it was cold and windy and he figured his heating contraptions was going keep everyone warm by the grilling station. Wrong! Maybe his heating contraptions were not producing any heat because of the wind ? Whatever the reason the party soon moved to where the heat was coming from … and that was my Lava Box! Needless to say my buddy thanked me for saving day!
We fired up the fire pit were so happy with the heat and flame. It made camping so much easier than lugging firewood, coaxing it to start and then the hassle of making sure it was really out when we were done.
Easy to use, pleasure to have at the campsite and I was surprised how well it worked when the breeze kicked up a bit.
Received my trident and couldn’t be happier. Can’t wait to get this thing out on the river!
