Lava box is a great company. They went over board because of some shipment problems. And stay true to their word I’ve used it once I can’t wait to go camping.
Got it just in time for our camping trip. Love how it fits nicely in the case and is easy to tote around. Love the compact size instead of breaking out a portable grill or kitchen. Do need to pay attention to how much gas is going in when you light it. But love it.
We planned to go camping but learned that a burn ban had been put in place. At least in TX, the lavabox is allowable during burn bans under state/county regulations.
So we were able to make hot dogs, smores, cooked eggs & bacon, a ribeye..as well as used it for our fire pit to sit around. The flames can go pretty high without it being loud at all.
Super happy with it. Added bonus of ease of use - I'll be searing my steaks outside at the house with it and not have the house smell!

I can't speak highly enough of the customer service!! There were a couple parts on back order but the company communicated and was very responsive of any questions I had!!!! Definitely would order again and can't wait to use camping!
