This company is as legit as it gets! Let me just say they made a mistake and send me the wrong lavabox by accident. They shipped me a brand new correct box and they still get it to me before my trip. I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone. Josh was great and very fast to reply. The box itself is awesome. It performed better than I expected. The flame was bigger and hotter than any video depicted on YouTube. I’m very happy with this product, it’s a tank. Thank you Lavabox family you guys killed it.

We love our LavaBox! its there prefect addition to our RV. Space and weight are critical in the RV, and the LavaBox fix easily in our storage area, and doesn't take up much space. It's great! Every place we've been to this year doesn't allow burning firewood, so I'm excited to take this and be able to sit out around it to keep warm when we're camping.

Hekla came through nicely as there is a fire ban in Joshua tree till Fall. Easy set up. The burner is very warm, kept it on low was all we needed. Thanks so much for shipping it out quickly in time before our trip. Great product.

Works well no matter how you use it.

Im giving it a 5 star rating because i do love it. however, there needs a better buckling system to hold the lid down. Its not like a regular ammo can. Its custom made with 1 buckle that kinda holds. If you happen to tilt the box while holding the handle, the lid will un buckle and fall off. Other than that, this thing is a beast and i love it. The stainless makes it best to use out in the salty air here in florida.

The flat grill wok-style cooking surface is perfect for camping. Just sizzled up some ribeyes and veggies for a quick meal and breezy cleanup! Temp control is super responsive. I’m Looking forward to future easy meals with the campfire Lava Box s’mores for dessert…

I love the fit, finish and function of the Hekla lava box! It is an amazing piece of engineering from Josh and his team! I ordered this last month and with the tariffs, there were expected delays, but the team always reached out and updated me. Can’t thank them enough for their efforts! I am telling everyone about this amazing product! Be patient, it is so worth it and beats anything like it out of the water.
