If you camp, you need this. We belong to a big camping group in So Cal and the LavaBox was recommended by several group members who had it. We used them in the wind and rain and they work great. They put out more heat than the bigger round gas fire pits.

We also love the size. We bought the combo with the carry bag and the OUGT. Everything packs neatly in the bag and is easy to stow in one of our RV storage compartments. We also got a quick-connect adapter and extension hose so we can connect directly to our on-board propane tank.

Easy to transport and store. Great for road trips or tossing in my jeep. Ignites easily and provides ample heat to keep me warm. It has a rugged, tactical, industrial look that stands out from regular fire pits. Made of heavy-duty steel that should handle rough conditions. Highly recommended

The product is great and works as advertised. Great flame. The kit did not include the wrench for tightening the connections.

I used my lava box for the first time last weekend. I sat by a nice low fire and I cooked all my meals on the wok. I'm telling anyone who will listen to buy a lava box.

This thing is amazing! So much easier to setup than a traditional wood camp fire and puts out a good amount of heat and ambient light. I may never go back to a traditional fire now.

Definitely works better than the older style regulator, however I feel this newer one doesn't produce as high of flames, but that doesn't matter to me at all because the super high flames aren't really practical to sit around. This new one seems perfect. The only thing I can't say is how it will preform in cold weather but I expect well.

Lava box is a great company. They went over board because of some shipment problems. And stay true to their word I’ve used it once I can’t wait to go camping.

We got our Lava box and went camping with it. There was a fire ban in effect but we were good to go with the gas fire. Can't say enough how great it was to be able to adjust the fire height setting to our desired temperature. I built my own tripod stand for an elevated fire, but honestly, we liked the fire closer to the ground to warm our legs better. Lava box seems really indestructible and it's more compact and lighter than those round fire pits out to there. Thanks for the amazing purchase experience🤩

Got it just in time for our camping trip. Love how it fits nicely in the case and is easy to tote around. Love the compact size instead of breaking out a portable grill or kitchen. Do need to pay attention to how much gas is going in when you light it. But love it.

Real simple to do and works great.

The scratch and dent fire pit was a great deal and a great product. The item would probably be at least as dented after me using it for one campout.

We planned to go camping but learned that a burn ban had been put in place. At least in TX, the lavabox is allowable during burn bans under state/county regulations.

So we were able to make hot dogs, smores, cooked eggs & bacon, a ribeye..as well as used it for our fire pit to sit around. The flames can go pretty high without it being loud at all.

Super happy with it. Added bonus of ease of use - I'll be searing my steaks outside at the house with it and not have the house smell!

With this kit I am hoping to not bring my bbq and my old fire pit( which has seen better days) should save much space in my truck
Was bummed though I did not get the guy montage welding gloves
Must not be included with package anymore?
