I came across your products several years ago and it has been on my wish list for quite some time but it took a while to pull the pin due to the price point. Having finally committing to the purchase over the holidays I went all in on the Hekla combo as I wanted a complete kit and was somewhat influenced by the reviews. I'm always on the hunt for domestic made products for their quality amd to support US based businesses which is why I was very surprised on how quickly I started having issues with this product. The side walls began separating from the frame at the bottom which could have been resolved with a couple additional rivets spaced on tighter centers. The sides buckled due to the heat almost immediately making it difficult to install the lid becuase it's no longer square. I understand the goal here was to keep the weight down but a heavier wall thickness would have resolved this issue. The burner functions as promised, however the needle valve downstream of the regulator leaks by forcing me to turn off the tank everytime after use.

This is a great fire, particularly with all of the fire bans in California. Well made, and I loved the packaging. Would highly recommend as a fire - I haven’t cooked on it yet
Lava Box: Well, be a great source to cook on as well as heat to the grandchildren and we’ll use it each time we go fishing and camping. I like the way that it can fit into the bag that comes with it.SO that it's all safe and nothing is left behind.
