Great compact design. Will work well when remote camping and not able to have a traditional fire. Bought some aftermarket rocks that retain more heat to add a little more ambient heat to the gas fire. The only thing that could be improved is adding a quick disconnect for the gas line. Make sure you buy a 30lb for this one 20 lb wont last long.
I looked into several of the ammo can fire pit options on the market and I think the standard LavaBox with the carrying case is the best bang for the buck out there. Used it on a camping trip recently and really enjoyed how simple it is to set up, and it puts out nice warmth and also worked perfectly to roast some S'mores. Great product!
