Hekla Combo: Stainless steel perfection to last a lifetime

Last May I waited with anticipation for my Howl R1 to be delivered. It finally arrived, I took it out in the backyard and fired it up. Pretty cool. Couldn’t wait to get it out on my Hell’s Canyon trip in August. Fast-forward to August and a buddy of mine on the trip had just purchased a Lava Box. First night of the trip I brought out the Howl, looking forward to dazzling everybody with the flame. My buddy brought out his Lava Box as well and placed it next to the Howl. After he fired up the Lava Box, I stood up out of my chair, walked over to the Howl, shut it down and put it away for the rest of the trip. When I got home, I immediately put the Howl on Facebook marketplace and sold it, and immediately placed an order for the Lava Box. This thing is impressive to say the least, and the quality and workmanship is top-notch. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money on a Howl or any other ammo can fire pit. Get the Lava Box, it won’t disappoint.

We used this a few times on our last motorhome trip and it was FANTASTIC! Easy to set up, to light and provided great atmosphere for our camp guests. The small size and the case are PERFECT to store in our small 24 foot Unity LTV Motorhome. I used a direct gas hose output form the motorhome to the Lavabox and that was perfect.

I would recommend that you get in touch with the Unity LTV community. They have rallies all over the country . In January in Las Vegas, there are over 100 rigs there. Multiple vendors show their wares and make presentations. You guys would be a huge hit.

This is an amazing product and I love that I can take it anywhere! I hate smelling like smoke but love having a campfire and cooking over the open flame! The LavaBox gives me the best of both worlds!

Living in the southwest we're constantly under fire restrictions. I believe this will make it on every one of my camping trips from now on, restrictions or not! It even does great at the house since it's so easy to move! It even looks good. It packs up so small and light. Honestly, I was so impressed when I saw one of the originals I knew I had to get one myself. Also it just rips if you need it hot.

What a game changer for our sprinter van travels. We used to use a large hard to store fire pit. This Lavabox is so much better. More heat, cooking option, takes up so much less space, easy to handle, so well built. It uses much less fuel and blows our old ones out of the water. What an awesome product. I bet all our friends buy these after they came with us soon. Highly recommend.
