LavaBoxes: The Original Ammo Can Firepit

LavaBox portable propane fire pits put a real campfire in a rugged 50 cal ammo can. Every LavaBox has a dual burner, with campfire mode on one side and cooking mode on the other, and lights in seconds with no smoke, sparks or ash to put out. It packs into a raft, truck bed, van or RV. Propane with a shut-off valve generally meets or exceeds Stage 1 and Stage 2 fire restriction requirements, so you can often have a fire when wood is banned (always check your local rules).

Start with the Original LavaBox, the ammo can fire pit that started it all, or step up to the 304 stainless steel Hekla. Want it all in one order? Our combos and kits bundle a LavaBox with the Over Under Grill, Bugout Bag and camp cooking gear. Hunting for a deal? Check the Island of Misfit LavaBoxes for gently scratched and dented boxes.

Every LavaBox is hand-built to order in Denver, Colorado.
