Your Skwok comes pre-seasoned so you are ready to cook. Just wipe it down. You can season your Skwok just like a classic cast iron. HERE is a great video for tips.

I initially thought the price was a bit high, but the pan is of very good quality, comes with a durable storage bag, and I picked it up on a holiday special.
I like that this is lighter weight and lower profile than my old cast-iron Lodge wok. With the lower profile, I can easily stow this in my raft's dry box without taking up much space compared to my old wok. The Skwok also fits nicely on my Partner 4-burner stove, and I have more room to cook items than a regular skillet. Cooking with the Skwok is more straightforward than using a skillet. I have not tried it on a Lava Box yet, but for a Partner system, this is an excellent addition to my kit!
Truly handcrafted, well built and the way it heats up evenly really helps in the meal preparation. I give it FIVE Stars!
We had gotten away from cooking over a fire at the campsite. So far, two meals over the Lava Box on the Skwok and both were amazing! First was chicken and rice stir fry and the second was steak and mix veggies. Clean up was a snap with a little water as it cools down. Final rinse and pat dry was all it needed. I cannot begin to tell you how happy we are to be cooking outside again without having to haul the big heavy flat top grill in our limited space
