I was just about to buy a competing product by a manufacturer who makes propane growlers. I read a few reviews and found a local Colorado company manufactures there with a better product. Buy USA and better product. That's a win-win. I just used this up around 10,600 while hunting / camping and it was SO nice to have a fire, even though the fire bans were in effect. I cannot tell you how pleasurable it was to have a simple to use product that makes the whole evening enjoyable. My second use with sitting in my driveway with a couple buddies sipping beer and enjoying the lavabox. The next may be cooking marshmallows with my family. This is some of the best money I've spent for the great out doors....

PS: be cautious with the folding grill. It does have fairly sharp edges.

The quality of this bag is solid and the bag has many flexible options. I purchased this in addition to the 'combo' kit, so now I have two bags because I knew the bag would get used often. If you are looking for a flexible, well made small sized duffle bag, this is it.

I usually take a size 10 or 11 (L or XL) gloves so I was skeptical these would fit but I'm pleased to report that they do. I CANNOT BELIEVE the price on these gloves. Pick up a pair even if you think you won't need them! I may even try using them as oven mits when I cook sourdough in cast iron pots. Anyway, incredible value.

Got this at the last minute thanks to these guys at LavaBox! Took it on an Overlanding off road trip in Canyonlands. It was the hit of the whole trip!!

We ordered a Lavabox for worry -free Colorado camping as well as the occasional recreational fire on the patio, and haven't been disappointed. It's beautifully designed and built, and functions exactly as it's supposed to-as an infinitely adjustable campfire or a cooking fire. You have to be impressed by the quality hardware and the way it all fits into the great carry bag. I'll give it two thumbs up, and that's because I only have two thumbs.

I’ve been wanting, burning even, to get this for a while. Did my research with other companies but I was just really impressed with LavaBox. It helps that when you visit at places like Freespirit Recreation or Overland Expo that there might be Shotski’s involved. I can be bribed or convinced.

I went with the camp kitchen combo because it had everything I needed. They were out of stock on the OUGT’s but shipped them as quickly as possible. The Shwok is fire. Seriously. Fun to cook with and easy to clean. The rest of the accessories are a must have.

I did have one issue at our recent campsite. Someone, not me, promise, placed the Hekla lid off to the side of the grill that we were using as a base and the lid somehow fell into the fire pit. After a raging bonfire the night before, we looked all over for the lid. Couldn’t find it. I took one last look at the fire pit to make sure the coals were good and dead from the night before and I found the lid braced at the side wall of the pit. The brass caps and screws for the leather strap were there but the leather strap was a distant memory. There’s a fine patina of flame kissed steel and the lid fit snugly to the box. I asked LavaBox about getting a new strap and they sent me a new lid.

I’ll be a big fan of LavaBox from here on. Getcha some. Light up. Enjoy. Repeat. Fire safely.

Definitely a must. We’ve used it to cook all sorts of things on our lava box.

This thing is awesome. Now we want the bigger one!

Been an owner for a year now & we use it 2 camp trips a month and it’s perfect. Dirt road date nights. Just the right amount of heat and ambiance lighting. S’mores are perfect! Upgraded to a bigger portable gas tank lasts so much longer use about 12-17jours a month. The Boss man is approachable, amazing, friendly , funny,, and down to earth. also Very entertaining at the overland expos. There’s nothing on the market that even compares. Buying our second one for our daughter so she can also keep warm on her adventures.

I tried my new Lavabox last week for the first time. It worked great to fry my steak for dinner and my sausage, eggs and hash browns the next morning. Since it was cool when I finished cooking the steak I simply switched the propane hose to the campfire fitting and started up a fire to keep me warm while I ate. I am so pleased with it!!

Even though my bag didn’t come with the lavabox patch shown, and I had to buy those separately after the fact, and even though there isn’t enough Velcro to accommodate the rad three patch set, this bag is perfectly sized to carry your box, fuel hose, over/under and more! Well built and ready to be tossed and heaved onto a pile of less-rad outdoor equipment in your truck. Thanks fire anytime for good times and great products. SUPPORT COLORADO SMALL BUSINESS

Skeptical at first regarding the BTU rating - boy was I wrong and pleasantly surprised! This baby roasts - love the mello flame setting and wen it’s time to party open it up and let the good times ROAR!

Although I haven’t been able to use it yet, I’m completely happy with the quality of the unit and all the components. The only issue might be how easy it is to clean the bottom of box after cooking steaks or other fatty foods on the grill. I can easily deal with that small possible inconvenience. Good Job! Looking forward to firing it up!

Truly handcrafted, well built and the way it heats up evenly really helps in the meal preparation. I give it FIVE Stars!
