I got a Lavabox for my birthday and I absolutely love it!! I'm not sure where this has been all my camping life, but here it is! After a few uses the regulator knob stopped working correctly and was only producing a 6" flame. I contacted Lavabox on a Sunday and they sent me a new regulator hose that same day!! If you are looking for an awesome present for the outdoorsperson in your life.....look no further. Great company and great product!!
Very Glad I bought this last minute before heading out to Spring Turkey camp. So fast and easy to start up in the cold mornings while getting dressed and filled with Coffee. At nights we had a wood burning fire pit, but we used the lava box to cook on.
This is the BEST campfire box built. Quality is great. Fire strength is superior. I bought a competitor fire box for a cheaper price and returned it, because this Lavabox is far superior. You will not be disappointed with the purchase of the Lavabox. It does drink the propane, so only turn it on when you are ready to sit and enjoying the fire. Also it does not take the small 1lb bottles of propane,, you will need 5lb tank or greater. There is no mess, no hunting for twigs and logs to burn and hope they are dry. When you turn off the Lavabox, it cools down quickly. It is great to have the carring bag too, everything fits in the bag and room to add more items. Love the Lavabox! It is a must have....for all overlanders/ campers.
So far, the Lava Box setup is working like I thought it would. Very warm flame. I also like the Over/Under Grill Thingy; moreover, I am glad I ordered the carry case.
